Matthew 4:1 NKJV — Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

Jesus is all God and all man. When He walked on this earth, the scriptures teach us he was tempted. Yes, just like us but much more so. He had fasted forty days and at His weakest physical moment, Satan himself showed up. But He did not sin; He remained perfect

If satan had enough gall to tempt the One who created him, why wouldn’t he mess with you? He likes to steal, kill and destroy. That could easily mean testimony, dreams or lives.

Satan wants to do that to you because he wants to hurt Jesus. He doesn’t care about you, your family or anything else. He wants to inflict pain on God. How can he do that?

He does it by tempting, stealing from and killing God’s children. Remember, temptation can come from anywhere. Satan will use anything. Be prepard. Stay in the Word. Pray. Join with fellow believers. Jesus overcame by using scripture.
