John 9:3 NKJV — Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.

Why do bad things happen to good people? We often ask this when something tragic happens to us or someone we know. But Jesus said there is no one good but God.

So then the questions come about bad things happening by the will of God. People blame Him for bad things happening. James tells us God does not tempt us and is not capable of doing bad. So the blame isn’t His.

Bad things come because of our sin. We chose and still choose sin at times in our lives. This is a fact. God allows it because He uses it for His glory. He shows us His love by helping us through. He showed us His love by providing a way to be saved that cost Him His Son.

Do you stop and ever realize how much you are loved? If you do then your mind will be blown with the realization of how deep and meaningful that love for you is.
