Psalm 3:3 NKJV — But You, O LORD, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head.

The President of the United States has the secret service to protect him. But we have seen in recent days and with bad results from past Presidents that system is flawed.

No matter how well people insulate or try to protect themselves, danger is ever-present. When you are a child of the true living God, you have real protection. He promises to be your shield. Although we all have an expiration date, we have His promise of protection through our lives.

He also gives us true worth. He loves us and wants the best from and for us. He even lifts our heads when we have failed Him. He does this for His glory. He is worthy, and we are only worthy through Him.

Mondays always seem to be rough days. Be diligent–start with reading His word, praying, and then praising Him. He will sustain you through it all.
