Proverbs 10:2 NKJV — Treasures of wickedness profit nothing,
But righteousness delivers from death.

There is nothing wrong with having possessions. Abraham was a wealthy man, David was a wealthy man and Solomon was the wealthiest man of all time. Wealth is not a problem.

A rich young ruler asked Jesus what he needed to do to have eternal life. Ultimately, Jesus told him to sell everything and follow Him. Nothing else is spoken of that rich young man again in the scriptures.

It all boils down to your heart. Rich or poor we should give all the honor to God. We should worship in faith no matter what our bank account holds.

Jesus is the king, the owner of the cattle of the hills. He holds the universe in His hands. We are just managers of His possessions until we are called home. Praise Him for His goodness to us.
