Colossians 1:9 NKJV — For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

When we hear of a friend in a dire situation we go to them and ask if they need help. We do whatever we can to help them. Then we say we will pray for them. Why don’t we pray with them before we start?

When we pray, do we ask for them to be filled with the Holy Spirit? Paul made it clear when he prayed for the Colossians, that he prayed for them to be full of the Holy Spirit. This is so important for us to understand.

Through the Holy Spirit we are convicted to come to a saving Savior. We are taught the Word by the Holy Spirit. We are guided through the Holy Spirit. So today when we get up lets pray for one another and ask the Holy Spirit fills us!
