Daniel 9:3 NKJV — Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.

There are times when we are hurting that we seek the Lord with all our energy. These times are so raw and unscripted.  We pray from our true essence of knowledge of who Jesus is.

These times are the times when we are closest to Him. Why? Because this is how we are to seek Him and His will for us at all times. To often we half heartedly come to Him out of a sense of duty. He doesn’t like this!

Daniel understood who and what the God of heaven meant to him. He knew if God was with him, no one could stand against him. Today when you go to your church, worship Him like Daniel. Worship from the true essence of what He has done for you.
