Proverbs 1:7 NKJV — The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
But fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Fear of the Lord. What does that mean? In the above verse it means reverence and respect. If there is à lack of these then there is no true worship.

The lack of worship is foolish. What does this mean? In the manner in which foolish is used in the above verse means to be in danger of going to hell.

Use wisdom and fear the Lord equals eternity in heaven. Be foolish and spend eternity in hell.

Choices are important. Choose to be wise and reverent and turn to Jesus. Your eternal soul stands in the balance.
