If there isn’t anything good to say don’t say anything at all. Loose lips sink ships. These are sayings man has come up with to let young people know words matter.

Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. This is a wives tale straight from hell. Words stick with people for a lifetime. You’re worthless. You’re no good. You’re ugly. Lives are negatively shaped from words like these. 

This also shows up in the church. Jesus was revolutionary. He spent His life lifting up the poor, the diseased and the outcast. Then, He died on a cross for us all.

Today, follow His example. Lay your negative words on the alter and uplift those around you.
