James 1:9 NKJV — Let the lowly brother glory in his exaltation,

There is a rush in this world for people to make it to the top. In most cases people don’t care who they step on to get where they are going. No mercy.

James is a book that is often called Theology 101. There are concepts that open up the teachings of Jesus in its writings. Being humble is a major concept.

The lowly person will be exhalted. His teaching does not tell us to let others trample on us. It tells us no matter how far Jesus brings us, it is Jesus who has done the work.

Jesus is so good to us. Let us realize that and honor Him. He alone is worth the praise, honor and glory.
