Romans 3:27 NKJV — Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.

We as humans find it natural to desire being praised. The problem with praise isn’t the praise, it’s the result of praise: pride. We feel like it was us who accomplished whatever endeavor we performed.

Jesus is the author and finisher of our salvation. We can’t brag or boast about any accomplishment concerning our salvation. The law of faith is just that. It states Jesus paid it all. Paid it all for us.

Humble yourself to Him. He deserves the praise.
