John 12:27 NKJV — “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.”

There are people, places and things in life that make us want to walk away. Thoughts have accumulated in our minds before the events have taken place. We often find these thoughts excruciating.

Jesus walked with His disciples teaching and preaching about His Father. The whole time knowing he was quickly heading to the cross. Though His soul was troubled knowing the cross was coming, He never faltered. He never wavered. He mercifully took our punishment so we could spend eternity with Him.
