Revelation 2:4 NKJV — “Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love.”

The word love in its English form has been watered down. We love the game. We love pizza. We love to go to bed late. We use the word love in such a nondescript way.

Agape is a word in scripture that only shows up after Jesus arrives. It is an all encompassing love. Nothing is too great or too small. He spares nothing, not even His life.  He gives all for all. That is agape.

When we give our lives totally to Him and live for Him, He is pleased. We tend as humans to drift away though. If you find yourself drifting, turn back to Him. Our lives are not complete without Him. After all, He created a hole in our hearts that only He can fill.
