1 Corinthians 15:52 NKJV —” in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

Are you ready? I have had people say it has been two thousand years, Jesus has forgotten us. Well we should praise Him for this age of grace. It has given time for countless souls to be saved.

In the verse quoted Paul is talking about how quick the rapture will happen not the time from Jesus’s resurrection to the rapture. The actual event is a twinkling of an eye. People say I will repent when I see Jesus coming through the eastern sky.

How fast is a twinkling of an eye? I haven’t a clue. For context though let’s discuss one second. To many this is the most used measurement of events that happen fast.

A second is measured by the vibrations of the cesium 133 atom in an atomic clock. The amount of vibrations is  9,192,631,770. One second is put into perspective. A blink takes 0.1 to 0.4 seconds. Now what is a twinkling of an eye?

All this to say the time is now. Please don’t wait. Time is not timeless.
