1 Thessalonians 3:8 NKJV — For now we live, if you stand fast in the Lord.

When our eye turns to the world we can become envious of the worldly possessions others have. It is hard to reconcile the fact that people who don’t live for the Lord can materially have better clothes, cars or houses. These are the outward focuses of the world. These things sometimes tempt us.

True living is knowing whose you are, not what things you have. I have heard it said the one thing we desire most but do not understand we have until it is gone is our health. Jesus is the great physician.
