Luke 15:16 NKJV — “And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.”

Many times we find ourselves in places we didn’t intend to be. Maybe we made a bad decision or maybe we followed a friend. Sometimes we listen to bad advice. However we get there, we immediately know we made a bad choice.

The prodigal son realized this after he had spent all of his father’s money. He found himself tending swine and eating their food. He came to the end of himself and repented. His journey home was filled with thoughts of how he could serve his father as a slave.

Before he even realized it, his father saw him and came running with his arms outstretched. Unbenounced to him, his father had been waiting for his return since the day he left.
